Gingerbread Hot Cocoa

Gingerbread Hot Cocoa

Ingredients
  

  • Cups Milk
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tbsp Molasses
  • 5 tbsp Brown Sugar, lightly Packed
  • ¼ Cup Dutch-Processed Cocoa Powder
  • ½ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • tsp salt
  • Whip Cream, for serving
  • Gingerbread Cookies, for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine milk, heavy cream, molasses, and brown sugar. Stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Once sugar is dissolved, whisk Cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, allspice, ground ginger, and salt
  • Whisking occasionally, until it is hot. Serve with whip cream and a gingerbread cookie.
