Gingerbread Hot Cocoa
This Rich & Spicy version of gingerbread hot cocoa is going to your new winter fave! With Intense Dutch-process cocoa powder balances the spices, and heavy cream is what is needed for a creamy, rich texture.

- 2½ Cups Milk
- ½ Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tbsp Molasses
- 5 tbsp Brown Sugar, lightly Packed
- ¼ Cup Dutch-Processed Cocoa Powder
- ½ tsp Ground Ginger
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp allspice
- ⅛ tsp salt
- Whip Cream, for serving
- Gingerbread Cookies, for serving
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, combine milk, heavy cream, molasses, and brown sugar. Stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved.
Once sugar is dissolved, whisk Cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, allspice, ground ginger, and salt
Whisking occasionally, until it is hot. Serve with whip cream and a gingerbread cookie.
